The Collected Works of József Attila opened on a rhyolite stone slab in the village of Szomolya, Hungary, a place where dwellings are carved into the soft rock. A shadow splits across the pages as if the book existed as a sundial unto its own--liminal shashays on the fulcrum of the rind.
